How We Met

Dmitry was born in Russia and moved to New York as a youngster. In 2005, Molly moved to New York City from Chicago, where she grew up. As chance would have it, Dmitry joined a band with Molly's friend's husband soon after Molly's arrival in the city. The evening Molly and Dmitry met, they were at a mutual friend's Labor Day barbecue. They started chatting and before they knew it the evening was over, and they had been talking and joking non-stop the entire time--for some reason, partially in Spanish, which neither of them know very well! Sources close to the couple say they immediately felt like they had known each other forever. And the rest is history!
